Trainees from the La Perouse Aboriginal Community are learning to take care of the land and their culture on the southern shore of Kamay Botany Bay National Park, about an hour south of Sydney.

In recognising Indigenous people’s relationship to and aspirations for country, these Caring for our Country videos recognize that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility and that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s knowledge about land and sea shouldn’t be overlooked but celebrated and used to care for our environment.
